Every child deserves to experience the joy, excitement, and magic of Christmas. This holiday season, Bethesda Lutheran Services invites you to become a Christmas Elf and help make the season brighter for children and youth in our care.Through our Christmas Elf program, individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations can help fulfill Christmas wish lists for children and youth who may otherwise miss out on some of the special moments that make the holidays so memorable. Some wish lists represent children and youth who may enter our care during the holiday season. Because children can arrive at Bethesda with little notice, we prepare additional wish lists with age-appropriate gifts to ensure no one is forgotten. These gifts help ensure that every child who comes through our doors experiences the joy and warmth of Christmas, no matter when they arrive.Whether you purchase a toy, clothing, games, personal care items, or other gifts from our Giving Tree, your generosity does more than place a present under the tree. It reminds a child that someone is thinking of them, cares about their happiness, and wants to make their Christmas special.Ready to become a Christmas Elf? Browse our Giving Tree, select a wish list, and help us make this Christmas one to remember for the children and youth in Bethesda's care.Together, we can share the spirit of Christmas and remind every child that they are valued, remembered, and loved.Thank you for being a Bethesda Christmas Elf!
