Before you start
- Sign in with an account that has organization administrator access.
Step 1
Open Embed
Choose Embed from the organization sidebar or Embed this drive from a drive.
Step 2
Select the drive
Confirm the drive name in the picker.
Step 3
Choose a mode
Select item or monetary giving where the drive supports those modes.
Step 4
Preview the widget
Review the rendered donation experience and any unavailable-state message.
Step 5
Copy embed code
Open Copy code, then copy the snippet generated for your live GiftDrive website and paste it into your website’s supported HTML or embed block. Do not publish a localhost demonstration URL.
Step 6
Review the published website
Check width, height, mobile behavior, and access to checkout after publishing the host page.
What happens next
Your website displays the selected drive’s GiftDrive donation widget.
Troubleshooting
- Do not copy adminPreview parameters into the production snippet.
- External website-builder controls require provider-specific verification; a local preview does not prove the host site works.
